Want To Know How It Works?

Our caring osteopaths are here to make things run as smoothly and as comfortably for our clients as possible and are here to guide you through your personalised treatment plan.

After taking a thorough history and assessment, your osteopath may use techniques that include soft tissue manipulation and massage to release tight muscles and improve joint mobility.

Make an appointment with one of our friendly osteopaths and find out how we can help you to move more freely, feel more flexible and improve your health and wellbeing.

What To Expect

As registered primary health professionals, you can make an appointment to see an osteopath with or without a referral from another health practitioner.

On the day of your appointment, please wear loose and comfortable clothing, the reason we ask you to come in comfortable clothing is that we may ask you to perform some exercises, stretches and conduct some soft tissue massage.

If you have any relevant x-rays or other documents that may assist us in helping you with your pain, feel free to bring them along.

Our First Session

From your very first appointment with our qualified practitioners at Flex Osteopathy, it is our priority to give you the best care by finding out as much as possible about your current issues and medical history. This will allow us to determine the most appropriate treatment method for your specific situation.

We will then conduct a full examination and treatment using hands on osteopathic techniques and clinical tests where required.

Our practitioners embrace a holistic approach to treatment and we may examine other areas of your body, not just the problem areas causing you pain. Although it may not be obvious, other parts of your body may be contributing to the pain and may be the underlying cause of your symptoms.

Your initial session will last up to an hour and any subsequent visits will run for approximately 30 minutes. As each individual’s condition varies, so too will each course of treatment.

After Your Session

Our number one objective is to improve your condition, rather than just temporarily relieve your pain.

After your session, your osteopath will provide you with advice and exercises to implement in between sessions for faster results and continued pain relief.

The number of treatments required to manage pain and restore mobility varies from patient to patient.
